Emosist® it is a surgical haemostat made of oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC) suitable for every type of procedures, very handle and flexible, with an high heamostatic properties and biocompatibility. EMOSIST can be cut to the required size to endoscopic use. Read the manual of the equipment to check for any contraindications to the use of EMOSIST. Following sterile procedures cut EMOSIST in the right dimensions to fitting on the field. Hold the product at the edge and slide it gently completely within the laparoscope. Insert the laparoscope into the spindle using the standard laparoscopic procedures by placing the lens in the operative site, gently push the caliper in order to deposit the hemostat in an appropriate site. Place the product using the aid of pliers positioned in the second and third auxiliary access.
